Ordering the Cake

Ordering the cake may be the most exciting yet the most crucial stage because this is when you decide which design can most express your personalities, can fit your budget, and will be appreciated by all your guests. Afterall, the wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception.

Planning The Design

We suggest that before meeting with us, the couple do their own little research on the type of cake they want to have. They can bring with them a picture of the cake they want to base their own cake from. Or, if they prefer a one-of-a-kind, personalized creation, we suggest that they bring with them their invitations, giveaway, pictures from magazines not necessarily that of a cake, or any other item that they think expresses the theme that they want for their wedding. Some couples get inspiration from the bridal gown or from their color motif; others from their favorite hobbies, still others from their favorite country themes. Tell us what you envision, and we will create it for you.

Cake Flavors

We have a variety of flavors to choose from with options for fillings. We can also accomodate personal recipes when requested by the family as long as we find it compatible with the requirements of the cake design.

Hotel Del Rio

The most convenient way is when you book your wedding at Hotel del Rio. We have been doing the package cakes of Hotel Del Rio for over twenty years. We can do cakes according to your specifications for an additional charge.

Delivery

We deliver the cake to the venue (within the city) and arrange the cake at the reception area at no extra cost. A reasonable delivery fee is required only to venues outside the city. We have delivered to Dumaguete, Bacolod, Roxas City and nearby towns of Iloilo. We have also crated cakes to Manila.

Pricing

Pricing will depend on many factors: size, cake content and flavor, décor, current price of fresh flowers and intricacy of design. We can also work around a given budget.

A deposit may be required for returnable items (cake stands, accessories, etc.). Estimates are made on an individual basis.

Payment Terms

Making an appointment or attending a consultation does not guarantee an order unless the Cake Order Form has been filled up and signed and a non refundable deposit of 20% has been received. Full payment is due two weeks before event. No refunds.
